The data set "FP5 + FP6 IST " has been provided by
Singleimage, UK. The data set contains organisations involved in European IST projects within the 5th and 6th Framework Programme. The data have been collected from the public CORDIS website first and have been manually cleaned subsequently. The manual cleaning concentrated mainly on removing duplicate representations for one and the same institution, and especially for those big organisations involved in many IST projects within FP5 and FP6. The aim was to remove redundant information of single institutions. This work was supported by the European Commission under contract number 015849.
